Enlarged Meeting of the Task Force Charged with Developing the National Heating Strategy

On 10 December 2009 JurEnergoConsulting experts took part in the enlarged meeting of the Task Force charged with developing the National Heating Strategy.

Particularly, the members of the Task Force:

identified the State target economic program for communal heating sector modernization for 2010-2014 approved by GOU’s Resolution № 1216 dated 4 November 2009 as one of the stages of preparing the National Heating Strategy, as well as developed proposals on the Action Plan for the implementation of the Program;

acknowledged the satisfactory operation of three expert groups - on the preparation of regional and state programs of technical modernization of heating sector, on energy efficiency of residential and administrative buildings and the development of state regulation in the communal services market;

instructed the Ministry of Labor to create a fourth expert group - on social protection and protection of rights of DH services consumers;

supported the draft Law of Ukraine “On the National Commission of Communal Services Market Regulation of Ukraine” developed by the MinHCS with the participation of JurEnergoConsulting LLC within the frames of USAID’s Municipal Heating Reform (MHR) Project.
